I'm generally pleased with this app. I've just purchased a motorbike with y-connect (December 2023) and so I've got the latest CCU that fixes the battery drain problem. The app auto connects predictably, that is I understand that Android is trying to keep it from running in the background too much and there are times when I must start it manually My one complain is that after riding the log doesn't show up right away. I have to kill the app and restart it to see the log.

This app would have been a perfect experience if it had the option to show real time fuel present in the tank in litres. UPDATE: There is clearly a lot of issues with the app that needs to be fixed. The vehicle doesn't pairs up automatically once the vehicle is turned off and on again. After sometimes, the vehicle stops pairing at all and the only solution left is to reinstall the app, loosing data like riding logs and all in the process. Good vision, really bad execution.

I really like Yamaha motorcycles. However, It's very frustrating that it's not possible to use a standard Bluetooth connection to control your phone calls and multimedia. Yamaha offers all the wonders of multimedia and navigation, but you need to install this awful data harvester app. My XMAX is great, but I can't enjoy the motorcycle at its full potential without delivering my personal data.
